Platforms

Platforms

Platforms provides the foundational infrastructure that powers Data Services. As the architectural backbone of our ecosystem, this service line enables secure, scalable access to enterprise data tools and technologies — ensuring the systems behind reporting, data warehousing, and integrations are reliable, performant, and ready to support campus needs.

Overview

Platforms is the foundation of the Data Services ecosystem, providing the tools, infrastructure, and technical environment that make enterprise data capabilities possible. While many users interact directly with reports, dashboards, or data integrations, Platforms operates behind the scenes to ensure those services are available, reliable, and secure.

As the architectural backbone of Data Services, Platforms supports and enables all other service lines — including the Data Lake environment, Data Warehouse, Reporting, and Integrations. By managing the underlying technologies and environments, this team ensures that data can move efficiently, systems remain stable, and users have consistent access to the resources they depend on. This foundational role allows other services to focus on delivering insights, analytics, and data-informed solutions to campus.
