Nick Chaviano leads enterprise efforts across data warehousing, integrations, and reporting at Georgia Tech. His work centers on building scalable, well-governed data solutions that support institutional decision-making and long-term strategy.
Having spent his entire career in the government and higher education sector, Nick brings a practical, end-to-end perspective on data strategy. He has led major initiatives including the implementation of PeopleSoft OneUSG Connect, the development of COVID-19 data models and integrations to support public health and compliance needs, and the creation of Georgia Tech's Business Intelligence Competency Center — branded as Leading Insight Through Empowerment (LITE).
The LITE platform has become a central hub for analytics across the institute, reaching a broad campus audience. Nick is known for aligning technical solutions with organizational priorities while building strong, collaborative teams that emphasize clarity, governance, and usability.
Chhaya Amin leads enterprise data integration efforts that power the LITE ecosystem. With nearly two decades of experience at Georgia Tech and Fortune 500 organizations, she has held roles including ERP Implementation Lead, Program Manager, Application Technology Lead, and Development Manager.
Her deep expertise spans PeopleSoft, Oracle, Workday, DataStage, MuleSoft, and Azure Synapse. She has led major institutional initiatives including the PeopleSoft Financial and Workday Financial implementations at Georgia Tech, the OneUSG Connect HCM implementation at the Board of Regents, and the UERP Workday implementation at the Board of Regents. Chhaya is known for her strong customer-centric mindset, consistently delivering solutions that are technically sound, intuitive, and impactful.
Andre Goodman works at the intersection of data, technology, and strategic decision-making. With a background in public administration and political science, he brings a distinctive perspective to analytics — helping make complex insights accessible, relevant, and actionable across all levels of an organization.
At Georgia Tech, Andre leads enterprise reporting initiatives that equip teams with data-driven insights to support strategic priorities and institutional outcomes. With more than a decade of experience in business intelligence, he is passionate about translating raw data into meaningful stories that improve clarity, consistency, and alignment across the organization.
Andrew Dietz is a seasoned IT leader with over 25 years of higher education experience. At Georgia Tech, Andrew managed the Galileo portal of scholarly journals, administered enterprise servers and NetApp storage arrays, led the maturation of OIT's service delivery capability with ServiceNow, and established OIT's Change Management process — all before turning his attention to Enterprise Data Management.
As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified professional, Andrew brings a data-driven approach to his work. His architectural mindset combines reductionist and systems thinking to create solutions that are comprehensive, streamlined, repeatable, and sustainable. He holds advanced ITIL certifications in Service Operations and Continual Service Improvement.
Oksana Waugh brings a multi-dimensional perspective on data — from operations to analysis, from design to development. Her contributions include the OneUSG data conversion for GTRI impacting over 40 applications, as well as data marts, integrations, reports, and redesigning the employee model for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Her mission is a well-thought-out data architecture built for reliability and ease of consumption and maintenance. She believes building confidence in data underpins both operational efficiency and strategic decision-making — a shared responsibility at every stage of the data lifecycle.
Don Cochran brings 20+ years of dedicated service to Georgia Tech. His expertise encompasses business analysis, higher education accounting, research administration, data management, and application and report development.
He is acknowledged for his distinctive combination of functional and technical proficiency, unwavering commitment to customer service, and a proven track record of delivering tangible results. His success is rooted in a collaborative approach and a steadfast dedication to delivering value through innovation — continuously enhancing the Institute's data environment.
Frank Houser specializes in designing and implementing cloud-based data architectures, with deep expertise in Databricks, distributed data processing, and ETL framework development. At Georgia Tech, Frank is leading efforts to transition legacy data systems to a unified Databricks platform, establishing best practices around data modeling, pipeline design, and curated data layers for downstream consumption.
Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Frank spent 13 years at General Motors, where he designed and led the implementation of an enterprise data platform integrating over 40 data sources end-to-end. He focuses on building simple, scalable solutions that deliver reliable outcomes and support better decision-making.
Lou Kaba is a Senior Business Intelligence Developer with more than 17 years of experience in higher education data management, analytics, and reporting. He was instrumental in pioneering Georgia Tech's first reporting portal, significantly improving access to institutional data and helping establish a stronger foundation for data-driven operations.
His technical expertise spans enterprise data warehousing, SQL development, Tableau analytics, and secure data access design. Lou is known for building scalable reporting solutions that balance usability, performance, and governance — transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insights that empower departments to make informed decisions.
